MBCC does not support the Kelantan State Government’s decision

The Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC),in a statement, said it did not support the Kelantan State Government’s decision.“MBCC respects the need of Muslims to fulfill their religious obligations, and the implementation of such a policy on everyone in the state potentially affects the daily routine and intervenes with the freedom of non-Muslims in the state. .."“The enforcement of such a policy contradicts the Federal Constitution, which assures freedom for everyone,” said the movement.
